Default flying by close to the moon

Moon was out and about in the path of passing flights so I started tracking possible crossings on one of those flight tracker apps. Still had to rush somewhat to catch this one. Nikon P1000 hand held. 2nd shot turned out a bit sharper but I like the position 'outside' the moon better. Shot a burst of 7, framing was all over the place on the remaining 5 shots. Cropped slightly for composition.

G'day GB

Great use of the superzoom lens !!
Have you tried desaturating the image to turn it to black?

Phil

Hi Phil, I gave it a shot but I think I like the 'feel good' sense of the color version better. Yeah that zoom lens provides some great opportunities.. but it seems difficult to the focus tack on.
