Walter, I took these with my "pocket-able" Sony NEX 5 with the pop-up flash. Thus, couldn't do much about the flash glare on the chrome. On my 5D Mk II (now III), I always use a Gary Fong diffuser.

Wow, didn't know they made Skylarks in the 50's. The only Skylarks I remember were a compact from the early 70's.
