This was one of the more interesting "bike thingys" Have no clue how to class it as it is not a bike even with it's Japanese motorcycle engine.

i have never seen anything like that. is something that even allowed on the road?

actually it is street legal, one actually tried to race me last year in NYC. I destroyed in a short straight race, it has a sports motorcycle engine, but it gave up 600lb to me. But they do corner very well.

looking at it, it wouldn't appear to corner well.

Actuall the front wheel/tire size give the T-Rex allot bigger contact patch to the ground then the thinner tire of a motorcycle. It allow it to grab a corner harder as you turn. And the smaller size allows it to whip through turns.

That is why high end sports cars like the Porsche GT3, Ferrari Ezo, and pretty much any Lamborghini will destroy a sport bike in a tight turning racetrack. They can power through the turns and have plenty of power to catch a bike on the straight aways.

Also they generate allot more aerodynamic downforce that help cars and the t-rex stay glue to the road when turning.

Rob Dyrdek, who has a TV show on MTV (Rob & Big/Fantasty Factory) and is a pro skater for DC Shoes and other sponsors, has one of those.. Used it to beat the top speed record on the show for skateboards with another pro skater holding on...Pretty mean machine IMO

Sort of an updated version of the Gogomobile. Wish I had taken some shots of it and some of the other curiosities we used to play with when I was in Berlin.

Like that version of the side by side seating over the three wheel bikes with the rider behind the driver.
