Default Trainspotting at night

At Ned's urging I set up camp trackside for a couple of hours. It was a quiet evening except for this this local Milwaukee Road freight train being pulled by a Alcoa RS-1. I was fortunate that there was a street lamp to provide some illumination just as the engine passed by. It was getting cold and I decided to try again another night.
Nikon D300s + 50mm, f/1.8.
