Caught the fire fighting plane circling over the neighborhood getting ready to drop retardant on the Banning fire. It has been a very busy summer so far.

Hells Bells ...... do you mean that this fella overhead is flying in at 200 - 500 feet over a large fire and dropping his "bundle" over the heart of a bushfire??

If so then 'them there' pilots deserve more than a medal

Sorry it took me so long to reply but yes, when they make the drop it is pretty impressive. The jet coming over the house is just a different sensation than what the propeller planes make in their passes.
