Was in a mall in Germany that had a aviation theme. They took a old Mig 17 and made it into a decoration. And the name of the mall is loop 5. Think the plane has a nicer paint job then when it was new.

all the energy they spent getting that plane in there and painted and mounted. kind of crazy a little bit lol.

Actually they most likely spend more on the paint and install the the price of the plane itself. They are pretty inexpensive to pick up in Germany.

Intersting art work...is that the real thing...it looks a bit smaller than what I imagined.

It is a real mig, It is actually about 30 feet above me so it looks a bit small.

I think the mall guy said they got that play form former east germany. So the Germans have very mix feeling about Soviet era things. As the german air force still flies so some mig 29, that they uses as an aggressor sqdr to help train nato forces. They still have some old soviet era equipment laying around.
