I don't remember these cars. Yes, I was alive then.
Nice looking car.

I remember them well. AMC (Rambler) made them. Think the first year was a 1965, but they didn't sell well, only lasted a few years. One body style...a rather dramatic fastback.
They were sort of a personal luxury....not quite a pony car. Based on the Rambler Classic I think...but with a fastback top. Otions were an inline six...small V8 and the old Rambler 327 cube V8....which was not the 327 Chevy...but the 327 Rambler engine. Eventually they had the optional 343 AMC V8...which was a new design and replaced the old 327 block. There's one in my town. Beautiful shape, was a museum car before current owner bought it. AMC (Rambler ) eventually brought out the AMX, Javelin, Rambler Scrambler...all more sporting cars . The AMX and Javelin replaced the Marlin. I tend to go on a bit, being a car buff. Les |

Thanks for the great info guys.
I see this car all the time but have only have seen it's owner once, I've always wanted to ask him about this car but have never had the opportunity. It's a daily driver and I always see it parked at the curb. It's looks definitely reflect the 60s.
