Thanks all for your posts to this thread. I guess what is hard to capture in photos is the sheer size and scale of the canyon. When you stand at the edge and gaze out at the sheer enormity of it, and listen to the "quiet" of the it, it is truly an awe inspiring experience. The power of water and wind over time....
