Default Arizona, New Travel Lens

I'm a little behind the times. I just picked up a 18-200LE superzoom to use with the NEX-6. It's a small combo that I feel is very capable of capturing some good images. Bring along the 50 f/1.8, a flash or two and you have a nice small travel kit.
The distortion at 18mm is not even close to being as bad as the 16-50. I still shot in jpeg on this trip to use the in camera distortion correction and to eliminate some of the vignetting from the polarizing filter. I need to get a slim filter for the wide end. These images are very lightly processed. Just minor WB, levels and +.5 contrast tweaks.

Some images.

1.Off camera flash. There's quite a delay in the flash.

2. Painted Desert trail hike. The polarizer filter caused some vignetting.

3. The details in the needles. Edge sharpening applied on this one.

4. Desert landscapes.

5. Family portrait. Two off camera flashes.

6. The Colorado

You just have to love the countryside in Arizona.
