Mike, did you notice the small green house on the right? Its an actual home. Unfortunately the old guy died just before we got there. His grand daughter was selling jewellery at Artist Point and gave me a bit of local history. She lives down there as well.

Nice colours in this one Bynx, I wouldn't have noticed the house if you hadn't pointed it out. What a view to wake up to each morning.

The clouds definitely make this shot. Very nice.

Early October had lots of rain and cloud activity. Made for some spectacular sunrises and sunsets in the couple weeks I was in Arizona/Utah.

No, I did not notice the house, Bynx. That really provides a reference to the massively, grand scale of your shot. Very cool!

I was only a couple miles away from Antelope Canyon but didnt go there because the lower canyon was flooded leaving everyone and their uncle access to the upper canyon. I didnt even make a try and didnt have days to wait. I regret that decision. In October I will be going through upper Antelope. As for Sedona, after a great lunch at the Oaxaca it was a quick drive through the scenic drive. Another regret not spending more time. To be fixed in October.

Well we've made the same mistake by not driving another few hours to Monument Valley...

Oh well next trip then, we did get to see the Horseshoe bend though:
