Has anyone heard of a device that could be used to clamp one of the new breed of tiny digicams to a standard Tripod? My Sony DSC-T33 doesn't have a tripod thread on the actual camera -- instead you are supposed to take the huge clunky docking station out with you. This really isn't ideal...

All I'm looking for is a soft-jawed clamp with either a screw thread or quick release to clamp the camera somehow. This clamp should then screw onto a standard tripod thread.

The Sony really needs a tripod for good low light and night time photos. I have a couple of those portable tripods (one with those bendy legs, one just a mini-tripod); but have to carry a HUGE lump of white plastic too. Insane!

Cheers for the help,

Hey that looks like a great product. I recently sold my Kyocera SL400RT because it had no tripodsocket. Had I known about this product, I might still have it.
