Does anyone make an add on level for legs? If you pan with the legs not level, even with the ballhead level, you don't get a level pan.

Thanx,
Ron
PS: I should have asked here earlier, I've done several google searches with no results.

Hi surfnron-
I know such things exist, c.f., http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...=146230&is=REG but I have no direct experience with this one.

In another life I did land surveying, and this set up resembles [roughly] the leveling head on the transit that I once used--this one has three screws, a surveying transit or level has four leveling screws.

the red ball and cup is a manfrotto 555B leveling ctr post. with it you can level out you ballhead in about 5-10 sec and the work you way up.

it will also work on the gitzo 2220 as it does on my 2228
