There was this pro photographer who was getting rid of his old wood tripod. He advertized it for only $25.00 so i didn't expect much. Turns out it is a beautiful ultra sturdy Camera Equipment Co. Professional tripod made in the 1950's for movie cameras. Here is the only photo of it I could find..

Finally got the pic to post. My tripod is in much better shape than the one in the picture. It looks to have been made in the 1950's and I just received a catalogue from 1952 which had it listed at $150.

Don't preview it — just send it.

Previewing a pic seems to upset the system.

Well, the pic showed up in preview but not when I posted it. What am I doing wrong?
