Hello guys, i have a samsonite 1100 tripod but i cant seem to find the head, i was wondering if most all tripod heads (found at bhphoto) are able to be mounted on the black circular mount of the samsonite 1100

i was thinking about this slik tripod head, what do you think?

Slik SH-706 (holds 15lbs and is all metal!)

Usually tripods have a 1/4 oder 3/8 inch screw (the usual photographic screws, which you will also find on the tripod head, to fix the camera) in their shoulder plate to fix the tripod head. If your Samsonite tripod has got this screw, it shouldn't be a problem to use the Slik head in question. (But the load capacity certainly looks "optimistic" for such a cheap head). If your Samsonite hasn't got the one or the other screw, you either need to do some DIY or you buy a completely new tripod + head.
