Default Level Adapter for Tri Pod?

So I have a generic tripod for my Camera, it's a Canon one I've had for about 5 years, and used to use for my camcorder...

Anyone know if they sell a universal level to screw into the tripod where the camera would normally go, and then that would go to the camera?

I have a pic of what our photographer has for his camcorder that gave me the idea, I'll post it when I get home from work.

The hot shoe is easier to work with imho, it is right on top of the camera, and it gives you level info in 2 direction. My cullmann has a leg level, but I level my camera with the hot shoe level.

There is also a 3 axis level cube for the hot shoe. I picked up one on evil bay for $5. It works very well....

I have one of these hot shoe levels. It works well, and is much easier to adjust than the one on the top of my tripod.
