Grounder are tripod to get really low. Yup, you can get just the legs and mix and match on pan head, ball head or what ever.

Ok, I went by our local Henrys photography shop last night to have a look and their it was a slik 300. I thought I had found the best price online but the young guy gave me a deal I couldnt refuse. 149.00 plus a 22.00 dollar bag and he tossed in a 2 year 100% replacement insurance if anything goes wrong with it. Concidering I was going to pay $149 amarican plus exchange $12 Bag $13 and shipping $35 Not to mention the dutie crossing the border. All and all A great deal. Not to mention the fact I got to bring it home and try it out last night. It seemes to be a very good quality tripod for the price. Great call with that suggestion. I decided not to go with the ball head because of what one of you mentioned on one of the responses regarding landscape shots using panaramic stiching. I really dont think I need the quick adjust that the BH offers. Thanks again guys for the advice.
