Amphibico for Sony 707

Has anyone used the Ampibico 707 housing yet? I am considering this housing, because the Ikelite doesn't take a wide angle lens and the Gates housing is over $,2000.

Not Yet

Have the housing, just haven't had time to get in the water. Will try to test in 1 week.

keep us posted

hey sub-mariner,
Keep us posted on your results, I did even know they had under water casing for the 707. I have a 717 and I checked a couple of places, including the sony website but didn't find anything. Can one of you point me to where to find one of these. I hope they don't cost too much.

Have the Amphibico housing for 707

Purchased the Surveyor707 in October and went to St Croix with it. A few pics posted at www.pbase.com/mellingson.
just received the wide angle for Christmas but haven't had a chance to shoot with it. This is my first underwater housing and I'm not a good photographer, so be nice about the pictures. I'll post some wide angle shots as soon as possible

UW housings

The Amphibico Surveyor707 cost around $800us. 10w HID lights from Amphibico @ $700/ea, I think I paid around $600 for the tray and arms.

housings for cameras can run $200 for a ewa bag to $3000+ to control all camera functions
