:-)My girlfriend is letting me borrow her underwater camera (I'm assuming it's film). It's a Sea King II. Does anyone have any recommendations for me?? I've never taken underwater pictures before. What type of film do I use (I hate grainy pictures)? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!! Thanks.:-)

I'm assuming you want prints not transparencies, so I'd go for Fuji Reala 100 for bright colours and fine grain.

Water is a very poor medium for taking pictures through. Think about it if you get 20 metres visibility that's good. If you had 20 metres visibility on land you wouldn't think about taking pictures. In order to get over this you need to reduce the amount of water between you and your subject so get as close as you can (without touching anything). When I say close I mean 1 - 2 ft or as close as the camera focuses.

Assuming you only have the on camera flash try some photographs in shallow water without the flash. An external flash gives better lighting as it is of to the side and doesn't bounce light of all the floaters in the water column.
