I have several hundred images from 1.2MB (3072 x 2304) to 8.1MB (29000 x 2028) that I would like to try to put up on a web site. The web site I am considering has an individual file size limit of 2mb (actaully about 1.7mb). I would also like to reduce the pixel density (dpi in the x & y azis) to about 75 dpi or what ever would be best for viewing on the web and also for storage reduction. Is there a utility that I could run these images through in mass that would reduce the density and possibly other parameters? Thanks!

Irfanview has a batch utility for resizing/renaming/reformatting etc. It's very versatile, should do what you want it to, and it's free.

You can also create an "action" in photoshop, then batch process it. I like this idea because you have full control over all the variables.
