Default Beginner

I decided to learn photography and so bought a Canon EOS Rebel T6. Do you think this model is suitable for a beginner?

Looking at the Canon Instruction Manual I find it very difficult to follow.

For someone with no knowledge about photography, do you have any tips regarding where to look for learning information?

That camera would work great for a beginner.

As for information, you might check out your local library for books and video training.
I took a nature photography class at my local junior college years ago, and it started with the basics so you might look there.

I guess it depends on what type of learner you are? Do you do better with books, or videos.

The Great Courses video of 'Fundamentals of Photography' by Joe Sartore is a good start, but it is not on sale right now, so see if your library carries it.

Photography for dummies is a nice starter book, if you learn better by reading.
