hello folks,
i have a Fuji FinePix S200 EXR which i bought within 1 week after it was introduced in July 2009 but have never used it to it's full potential. now i would like to start recording images in RAW or RAW/JPEG format. the user manual barely mentions using RAW. the only reference i have found is under the shooting continuous options in the shooting menu the top 6 and last 6 shots taken have (3 RAW) after them. does this mean 3 of the last 6 shots in continuous mode are recorded in RAW format? is there an option somewhere to switch to CCD-RAW or RAW/JPEG besides this one and how do i do that? thanks for any replies. |

If you go into the "Set Up" Menu and use the left controller to select the menu with the "spanner" icon on the left- you'll find the CCD-RAW/RAW+Jpeg option.
It's on page 101 of the CD manual. Decent editing programs which can read Fuji's RAW file are quite scarce- though there are one or two "freebies" floating around on the web free for download. |
