Default Hello!

Hi folks. New here though I've been using SLRs and dSLRs for quite a while.

Let's see, my history...

Started out in high school in photojournalism class, using some manual film SLRs, and then "graduating" to some school-owned Nikon N8008s and N90s. Obviously I couldn't afford that kind of kit on my own, but in college I scraped up osome cash and bought my own Nikon N60 (not the best camera in the world, but it did what I needed to do).

Took a break from photography for a while, using only point and shoots for digital cams, then got a LUMIX FZ30. Then I finally splurged and jumped to Canon for my first dSLR, with an EOS 30D.

Since then I've owned a Canon EOS T1i (which sadly, got stolen - long story) and just recently replaced it with a Canon T2i.

Anyway, figured it was time to participate in some dSLR forums and get some more insight.

Thanks for the welcome! By way of introduction, I'll guess I'll post a couple of my shots here:

This was taken at Cape may Point, NJ back in October... plenty of Monarch butterflies about. More shots here.

Taken at the ruins of the old Eastern State Penitentiary in Philly, PA.

Of course I'll be contributing stuff here and there for comment as time passes.
