Default hello all new to steve and film photography

hello all my name is krista im faily new to film photography and am wanted to know if the purchas of a cannon eos elan 7 is a good starter camera for film in going back to school for photography and needed a film camera for the class sorry if this is vegue im not to sure what to say lol

Krista, hello and welcome! As far as your choice of film camera is concerned, I have never taken a course, but I would imagine the camera should nave a manual mode in order to be a good learning tool. You should be able to change exposure by changing the aperture or shutter speed, and not neccessarily let the camera make those decisions for you. I hope that all made sense!
