Default Hello from Maine

A newbie here....an old lady from Maine...midcoast....boothbay area...very photogenic....the area...NOT the lady!

I was an early adopter on pbase and you'll find my galleries here. Check out the Diaries. I keep monthly diaries and have since 2006...great fun!

I 'graduated' from a Canon 5D (first generation) to an Oly micro 4/3rds...ePL-1. I love the small form...can carry it for hours without the neck and shoulder fatigue that Canon was giving me.

I shoot stock with a small bit of success and was anxious to try a smaller camera....with some trepidation...I was worried about the image quality. Took this little gem with me on a trip coast to coast on an Amtrak train with a 2 week stop in Glacier National Park and was blown away by how easy it was to use and how nicely the shots came out. See June, 2010 for the images!!

Oh, I have a blog too....this is as much a personal one as a professional one. You'll find it here. I have several shots from the ePL-1 there as well as shots from the Panny Lx3 which I shot with before I bought the Oly. Of course there are Canon shots there as well.

Welcome to the board, the epl-1 is an excellent camera.
Super Frequent Flyer, no joke. Ex Patriot and loving it.
Canon Eos 60D, T1i/500D, Eos1, Eos 630, Olympus EPL-1, and a part time Pentax K-X shooter.
