I'm new to photography

Hey everyone, my name is Eric.
So, i went on vacation last month to puerto rico and wished i had a camera. I never owned one before. Last week, i bought one. Canon powershot SX20 IS. So far, i have experimented with macro, HDR, landscapes, water with slow shutter speed, sunsets...
I'm just trying to get a feel for all kinds of photography to see what i like or not.

I am having a blast. I'm going on another vacation to Montreal in a few weeks, and i plan on taking a lot of photos!

So, i just wanted to say hi, introduce myself, and apologize for all the ignorant questions i will probably be asking on this forum.

Hi. :D

Welcome Eric.

Be sure to post some of your "experiments" in our Canon or Photo Critiques forums, where our helpful members will be able to give you some constructive criticism, which will hopefully help you hone your photography skills.
