Feeling chuffed to be called junior at all :-)

A bit like being asked for ID in a liquor store at the age of 50+

I have to admit to having joined this group because I've detected problems with my Digital SLR, but the more I look through the various forums, the more I think that this will not be a fleeting visit.

With children having fled the nest, I'm rediscovering the travel bug for holidays (whereas previously more business related). We're in the process of weeding the 1000+ photographs from a recent trip to Turkey at the moment. Perhaps this will give me the opportunity to share some of the stunning shots of Cappadocia , at least.

We use Webshots for much of our picture hostng / back-ups, but have noticed some difficulties in uploading of late. I may well be posting a new question asking for recommendations for an alternative or 2nd option.

More later

Mark

Hi Mark, welcome to Steve's, good to have you on board.

Looking forward to seeing some of the shots.

As for hosting, you can look at flickr, that's a pretty popular option, it does have some upload limits but for most they are OK and you can easily link from there to here.

Welcome!

Photobucket is probably the easiest site to use for pure hosting. Flickr is nice for sharing, but its becoming more difficult to host from flickr as of late it seems.
