Default Hi and Adobe Bridge RAW not Working w Fuji S200EXR

Hello all,

I'm new to this stuff and just shot some images in RAW with my Fuji S200exr and can't open them in Adobe Bridge Camera Raw. My understanding is that Adobe has not added this camera to it's list of campatible cameras with Bridge. I would like to be able to edit them in RAW without converting to JPEG. I have the Fuji Finepixviewer and am also having trouble installing the updater, but will this allow me to edit my RAW images in the way that Adobe does? Is there another program that works as well?

Thank you,

I take it you have not updated the Adobe Camera Raw plugin from Adobe.com?

Currently, the only Fujifilm camera's that are supported, according to Adobe's DNG converter spec sheet for version 6.3, are:

FinePix E900
FinePix F700
FinePix HS10
FinePix IS-1
FinePix IS Pro
FinePix S100FS
FinePix S2 Pro
FinePix S20 Pro
FinePix S3 Pro
FinePix S5 Pro
FinePix S5000 Z
FinePix S5200/5600
FinePix S6000fd/S6500fd
FinePix S7000 Z
FinePix S9000/9500
FinePix S9100/9600

I myself have the Finepix HS20EXR and too am looking for Adobe to build in support for it's RAW format.

And diverdave, I have updated my Camera Raw plugin from Adobe and also am not able to get my Photoshop CS5 to support Fujifilm's RAW format for my camera.

This looks like a case that we just have to hurry up and wait for Adobe to catch up

I would suggest you find on the Fujifilm's web site the new picture importer named "MyFinePix Studio" found here: http://www.fujifilm.com/support/digi...ftware/#studio

Hope this helps
