Default First post. ACDSEE 5.0 problem I need help on.

Hi, this is my first post. I have a ACDSEE 5.0 problem I need some help on. I've used this for about four years so you would think I know something about it but???? For some reason, when the program opens up, the screen is shifted to the right about two inches and down about the same amount. I can't reach the icons at the upper right to correct it and I think I have tried just about everything else. I makes it hard to edit photos.

Welcome to Steve's

Your problem is not really unique to ACDSee. That can happen with any application when you change displays or resolutions, where the new screen resolution is lower and can't fit as much on the screen (because Windows 'remembers" the old location for any application that was open).

Try this...

* Make ACDSee the in focus application (either click on it, or use Alt+Tab to switch to it).
* Press Alt + Spacebar (hold down Alt and Spacebar at the time)
* Press the M key
* Use the arrow keys you'll see come up in order to reposition the application window
* Press Enter when you've moved the application window to the desired position.
