I am looking to buy a new camera from Costco (as that is where we buy all our electronics). I want one with good zoom, and image stableization.
Looking at "The Best Cameras" to buy for Zoom, the Kodak Z612 is #2. Costco carries this, but they also carry the Z650 and Z740, which are actuallyl cheaper to buy then the Z612. Can someone suggest which one I should get? Also why is the Z612 more then the others? Thanks in advance. |

If IS is a priority item, I believe that the Z612 is the only camera in the Z series that has IS. MT |

My mother-in-law has the Z612 and really likes it. It has IS so that's my guess as to why it's more than the others. I believe it's "newer" as well.
