Well, Pentax found themselves on the verge of elimination out of DSLR market and it seems that (with help of Samsung) they decided to take their positions back by making quality products and pricing them very moderately. The result is that currently Pentax offer best "bang for a buck".

Getting external flash is a very wise decision. In my opinion, external flash with swivel head (to make it bounce from ceiling) is a must for indoor pictures.
