Are Kodak Camera's good. Which would be better the 6.0 or the 7.1? I looked at them and they looked like pretty nice cameras' for a kodak.

Don't worry about the megapixels. For the Kodak's, their better cameras are the ones with the Schneider-Krueznach lens( I probably spelled that wrong). The lens and sensors make the biggest difference in pic quality. You just need to determine what you like. The Kodaks make great cameras for many people, but just stay away from their cheap lens.

I own a P850 and I love it !!
The p850 is a good camera for wildlife and sports shots and the p880 for landscapes ![]() |

I can get the 7.0mb for 189.00 the day after thanksgiving. The 8.0 will cost me about 359. Should I just get the 7 .0 and save all that money?

as someone else said, the number of megapixels does not necessarily make such a big difference
what models specfically are you looking at? What sort of photography are you going to be doing? check out steve's reviews on this site http://www.steves-digicams.com/cameras_dig5.html http://www.steves-digicams.com/cameras_dig6.html http://www.steves-digicams.com/cameras_dig8.html |

You really need to give a model number for anyone to know what model you are looking at.
The only Kodaks I know with stabilization are the Z612, the P712, and the P850. All of those ae 12X superzooms. In general Kodaks are known for their reliability, ease of use, and good customer support. |
