Well , it's my first topic and it's a question :cry:I hate that but it's truly SOOOOO HARD th choose

Nikon has 8X Optical Zoom , 2/3 sensor size ( BIG so no noise ) , Flip screen , Li-Ion battery , 3 cm macro , 5 Mega pixel

6X optical Zoom , 1/1.7 CCD 4th generation Super CCD ( Fuji special sensors) , 1.8 screen , NiMH battries , 1 CM Macro , 6 Mega Pixel

My Special concern about Fuji is the Noise in Native 6 MP, and my special concern about Nikon is Some advices ( I read tens of reviews and reviewed some of samples for those cameras and still cannot decide what should I Choose ?

Thanks in advance

And Sorry for any English mistakes or such thing ...

Net Sailor,

I don't know anything about the Fuji, but I have owned the Nikon 5700 for over a year and have been very happy with it, with the exception of some difficulty in low-light situations when there's motion involved. I think this is common for most cameras with fixed lenses and built-in flash though. You can see examples of some of my shots by searching for my username in the search field above.

Finally a replay:cool: ! It's a miracle ! I checked some old topics with no reply :?

But thank Goodness I'm lucky :)

What about : Focus Speed ? Convertors ? International trusted websites ?

I know I know, I'm bugging you but please !

No, you are at the rite place :-), I would like to help but can't since I don't have either camera.

How about a "contact" experience at the nearest store? , don't wait until your choice is delivered by mail to find out it doesn't have the right color or it's too small for your hand

I have nothing to compare to other than my previous camera which was a Kodak DC290. The 5700 blows that one away, but from all of the reading I have done, no camera is going to do it ALL, so you have to determine which things are MOST important (size, resolution, optical zoom, etc) and choose the one that does those things best, within your price range.
