This is an old thread but one that caught my attention. I am interesting in doing mostly animal photography, dogs and cats primarily, action shots and candid. I have been looking at cameras and was appreciative of the notes on the Sony Alpha100 as that has my attention.
One issues I wondered about was the movable lcd screen on the Olympus 330E. I've never used the lcd on my older digicam to shoot, always the viewfinder but it was pointed out ot me that I might could get some good candids that way. It has the antidust benefit but not the antishake of the Sony.
What I'd love is to know the best DSLR in what is an amateur but want enough of a camera to last me through a few years before I have to do this again for shooting pets on the move. If anyone has an opinion I'm all ears.
Thanks and just thought it was great that an old thread was so useful two years later even!
