Great reviews steve on the v50 and A95 The most comprehensive and informative site i have ever found on digi cams

I have narrowed it down to the samsung v50 and the canon a95. My requirements were - have to take AA batteries and a variable lcd screen (seems that only a few out there....)

The v50 is lighter, smaller and unlimited movie capture. The A95 takes better pictures.

My gripe is that the downside of one is the upside of the other. If only they can merge the 2 together!

I mainly want to take quick point-and-click photos to 'capture the said moment' and take good quality mpegs

Have i missed any other cameras out there?
