You're still comparing apples to oranges. These are two different shots, at different focal lengths, under different conditions. Based on EXIF infor, the Pentax shot was at 3200 ISO. The canon probably could not have come close to even capturing that image, as its maximum ISO isn't even close to 3200. The only way to make an accurate comparison is to shoot the same shot with both cameras.

give it up man.. we are all glad you are happy, but the fact is still the same... you are comparing a digicam with a tiny sensor to a dslr with an aps sized sensor... meaning there is no comparison.. please, let this be the end of this..
