wow, the 2 GB Ultra SanDisk card is $240. I thought I was going over board with the Extreme 1 GB @ $139 (which I haven't pruchased yet) I agree with MT, in saving money. I want more than I need, but not so much that it is a waste of money, and would not be used.

I am a little confused as to the diferences in the SD cards? I understand the size (capacity)differences, but not the types and speeds :?

I am not a MAJOR picture taker, maybe 20 - 30 at one time (real estate), but I like to leave the pictures on the card, till the houses sell.

I am very excited to get the A620, and who knows....when I do, maybe I will take tons of pictures, so want to have the right card.

I am also interested just as CrispyCakes, as to which 2500 batteries to buy. I know those are a must.

240?!?! no way. go on newegg.com and buy it for 169, only 30 bucks more and a whole extra gig than your extreme card you were thinking about.
