Belle-
The real question is where will it be released on 08/31? www.amazon.com is usually pretty good with their delivery dates, although some times they also miss those dates, but you will have to also allow so time for the shipping to your home as well. MT |

Do you think I am making the right choice. I want a point and shoot with more choices and better quality pictures. This camera is a big change from what I am used to know. I have been doing some extensive research and trying to learn what I can about photography. I am not looking to become professional or anything. I love taking pictures of my kids and family. I enjoy scrapbooking alot too.
Thanks for all your help. One thing I think this camera will provide is the ability to take pictures on a more hobbyist level if I choose to do so. |

Being a Digital Camera Instructor myself, my advice would be to check out the courses being offered by you local Community College. You could move ahead a good deal faster with a good class. MT |

How much would you charge for the extra s9000? I happen to come across a link where you took some pictures of flower using the different camera's, I must say.... very impressive
