I broke the wifes digi cam (Canon Sureshot) - she quite liked it as it wasn't too small and had a nice feel to it althought it DID suffer from shutter lag :(

I'm after a replacement and I'm trying to get one with a shorter shutter lag, decent lens and IDEALLY the facility to have a manual cable shutter control for taking pictures of Fireworks where I need the control over the exposure :)

Any recommendations???

Stu-

Please take a look at the Canon S-50 or S-70 both available as used cameras on E-Bay. They are excellent.

If you want to purchase a new camera, take a look at the Casio Z120.
