I have a Canon SD1100 and want to update. Looking at SX420 and SX710 or wonder if you would recommend waiting on the SX720. Appreciate any help and suggestions.

Hey Catylo
Welcome to Steve's! I've moved your post to our What Camera Should I Buy? Forum, where more of our members should see it and offer some advise on a good upgrade for your camera. Also, make sure to see reviews of models you are interested in. You'll find our Canon Reviews listed on this page: http://www.steves-digicams.com/camera-reviews/canon/ |

The SX710 has a 30x zoom, on the SX720 it's 40x. The rest is about the same. So if you don't need the extra zoom reach, you could go for the SX710. The SX420 has lower specs and is slower the than others.
