All,
I never realized that buying a digital camera would be so time confusing. So many to choose from. Anyways my base criteria is the following: a camera that has more zoom than 3X, can still fit in a pocket, LCD gains up in low light, camera recycles quickly after taking flash shots. Other camera suggestions are wanted. I have looked at everything, but here are some considerations: Nikon coolpix 4600 Nikon coolpix 5900 Canon powershot A520 (may not gain up in low light) Pentax 750z Panasonic LZ2 Thanks!!!! |

Monrob-
The Nikon L-1 looks to have some nice features but Steve has only done a preview on it, so no conclusions can really be drawn as yet. MT |

mtclimber -
I agree that it has some nice featuresand I was hoping that Steve would of put his conclusions together by today just in case it was on a good deal tomorrow. However, I may have to wait. Thanks for your other opinions as well. Just want to make the best decision. I took my wife to look at the Canon A610 and the Nikon L1 and she is leaning towards the L1 as it can fit in our pockets. My only concern is the lag time between shots using the flash. I will go and look at the Olympus C5500 as well. Well have a great holiday. |
