As to "What's the best camera for photography?", the answer would depend on what you wanted to shoot, how, and where.

So, can you elaborate?

One that takes good pictures.

I am surprised that you need to ask a question such as this. If you cannot come up with some criteria yourself, maybe you are not serious in the first place. If you can come up with some criteria re- photographic scenarios of interest and therefore some camera possibilities that shows that you are prepared to do something for yourself, then I and others here are willing to assist you.

The best camera for photography is the one you have with you.

Could start with a Hasselblad and work down.

If I were going to the Moon, I'd bring a Hasselblad.

If I were going to a baseball game, I'd probably bring something else.
