There is no any best camera for photography. It depends on your skill or interest. In which field you want to do photography? If you're a beginner then it will be bad if you buy an expensive camera. "Camera doesn't picture make good, it depends how do you capture image and what's the reason behind it?

Hi! I want to choose a good gift for my friend. She has exactly Hasselblad. But she wants to improve her photographer's skills. She likes to shoot landscapes mostly and she travels from time to time. Can you please recommend a camera for her? Thanks. |

Off the top of my head, I'd say that any of the editions of Sony's RX100 would be a good choice.
BTW, you'd likely get a lot more replies to your inquiry by posting it in a new topic, instead of piggybacking on someone else's.

The best camera? Easy. One that can read your mind and do as it's told.
More seriously, the best camera is one that has an instruction manual and controls that YOU can easily understand & use. Far too many are are labyrinthine, convoluted, obscure and burdened with unneeded bells and whistles. That's why point-and-shoots became so popular - and why they in turn are being superseded by the cameras in smartphones. |

Shop around you might get a Sony DSCW800. Works perfectly for me!
I took some shots recently from wide angle to full zoom on a cloudy day and they are every bit as good as my DSLR. Great little camera with lots of features. You may want to read more about it, so check https://www.gurureviewclub.com/best-...ras-under-200/ . Pretty unbiased review. |

Hmmm........ I was inclined to ask this question myself, when I first started photography.
Around here there are a lot of garage sales on Saturday morning. When we first held one, I simply put our address on the sign. I mean, after all, everyone knows where "I" live. .... john Last edited by Shinnen; Jul 5, 2018 at 2:22 PM. |

I've collected a few cameras over time, bunch of super / ultra zooms, some more compact enthusiast series, action cams, 2 dslrs and even a few flying things.. All have an aspect that stands out, or made them ground breaking when they were released. All still serve a purpose. But the ones I enjoy using most for photography are what I like to refer to as the 'photographers cameras'. The ones with direct photography controls. I adore the interface (hardware and firmware) of the Panasonic lx100. Also the Pentax dslrs tend to work very well (at least the ones I own); once they're set up to the users likings menu diving is almost a thing of the past, no matter what the shoot is about.

I think the one which is adaptable and the click which makes a user happy is the best one as far as I know.
