Best compact camera for running

I currently have an Olympus TG-1, thinking about replacing it with a newer life-proof camera or a more regular compact camera that can be operated fastly during running (marathons). Main objective is to get improved image quality.
Best possible picture quality in fact.

Any comments, suggestions ?

I would think weight would be a major consideration if you are carrying it during a marathon run. Even 50 grams difference would make for a burden. With that in mind, the Panasonic DMC TS30A would be one I would seriously consider. The newer Olympus TG5 and 6 models would probably be something you would feel instantly at home with, though, and during a race, you probably don't want to stop to think about your camera.

I agree. The most important point is the weight! There is also new generation of LUMIX cameras with 4K photo mode, but they are much more expensive:(
