Hello, I have a quick question for all of the most experienced people out there. I am looking for a super small digital camera which I can use as a basic point and shoot. I am currently in college, and therefore have a very limited budget of at most 150.00 (preferably 100 if I can swing it that way).

Anyway, I have been doing some research for a few days and I like the Pentax Optio s40, which I have seen new on amazon for 120.00 /w shipping. I don't really care about the Megapixels, just as long as I can blow it up to an 8x10 with no data loss - I am solely concerned about the lens quality and the size. The Exilim EX-S500 is my comparison baseline, as that is exactly what I am looking for - its just out of my range right now.

Any input is really sincerely appreciated. Thanks very much for spending a few minutes helping me out.

Watch the adverts from the office supply places for cheap cameras. They seem to buy a shipload of them andsell cheap. In general, no reviews are available for them so it is a bit hit and miss, but there are very few really bad cameras out there.

Try visiting www.******************* sometimes.

They often report on good deals on digital cameras. Oneof them in your price range is: FinePix A345 for $99.99 at www.jr.com . It's a 4 megapixel camera with 3X optical zoom and can take videos with sound.
