Hi, I'm looking for some good advice on finding a point-&-shoot with manual options and good video. Would appreciate any input! I'm considering Panasonic FX01, several Casio s and z-series, Canon SD600, and Nikon s5. So far these seem to be the best for what I want, although each has their drawbacks. If anyone has an opinion as to wether i should or shouldnt get one of these, or a new suggestion, that'd be great. My criteria, in order of importance:
-fast shot-to-shot recovery and startup(a minus for Nikon and Canon?) -good video and sound(i hear P?anasonic lags on sound quality?) -several manual options(i'd like to play with the focus and get some cool shots) -compact/ultra-compact (compact would be nice b/c viewfinder, but they usually require batteries[see below]) -rechargeable battery preferred -2-300$ range Thanks! ![]() |
