Here I am again, so many cameras to choose from.
So which one would you go for and why, Canon A610, Sony W5 or S90, it's for general all purpose use, nothing specific & nothing fancy, gotta be good at this and good at that Or, could you suggest something similar? I would sure appreciate some comments, Davy |

While are certainly agree with VWmom concerning the Canon A-610 being the best choice in the compact class of point & shoot cameras. If size is a real issue give some consideration to the ulta small Casio Z-120, which uses the same imager as the more expensive Canon A-620 but is substantially smaller than either the Canon A-610 or the A-620, while providing a full 7.2mp of resolution and costing just $230 to$240, with great image quality.

If you don't mind the price, the following cameras are excellent all round cameras :
Panasonic Lumix FX9 (6MP) Sony DSC-T9 (6MP) Canon Powershot S80 (8MP) These cameras all have 3X Optical zoom, and have superb picture quality. They are also pocket sized, so they are light and much easier to carry around. Steve has reviews on all of them, so have a look. |
