Default Which camera body and lens buy for baby photography.

Want to buy DSLR don't *have any pervious knowledge but some time shoot with friends DSLR in auto mode.*
I love watching another persons photography and have a wish some day i will take some beautiful photo like them. But alwase money become barrier for me because of my *income level.

I leave in sweden and weather is very extreme most time of the year. In next november i am going to be father and i want to capture my baby's movement in photo so he can enjoy remembaring his childhood in those photo's when he become young. so i am planing to have a DSLR with some affordable lense.*

I am planing to have landscape photo with him & portrait with clear details in low light.

So please let me suggest which combination should i chose for my requirment ?*

Camera body = ?(from Canon/Nikon brand)
Lense =?*
Extarnal Flash = ?

* I can afford Maximum $ 1500 for all stuff.*

Whilst I'm not sure DSLR's are the way to go for an "Auto" shooter- I'll go with you on this and suggest a Canon 550/600D and a Sigma 17-50 f/2.8 lens ( will help in low light ).

You mention extreme weather... have you considered one of the weather sealed DSLRs from Pentax?

the k-30 fits in your budget and offers some really impressive features and weather sealing.

I'll also toss out the Olympus OM-D EM-5 as I love micro four thirds cameras and this is showing itself to be an instant classic.
