Does anyone see a big difference in picture quality going from the Canon A520 to Canon A590?

I realize that there are specific differences in the features, such as image stabilization and face detection.

If you change from an A520 to an A590, You will have 8 megapixels instead of 4. You will have optical image stabilization.

I had the A520 four years ago. It was a good carry around point and shoot. However, if I could afford to spend $110 to $120, I would buy the A590 in a second.

How much can you spend? What do you have now? Is someone offering you a deal on a used camera?

What do you take pictures of?
