Is th Canon A60 compatible with Windows XP home edition?

Pretty much all digital cameras are compatible with XP Home andother versions. I assume you mean for file transfer direct from the camera. The Canon A60 connects via aUSB 1.1 cable (supplied). XP should install the necessary drivers. Software is also supplied with the camera including drivers for operating systems that may need them. But when it comes down to it most people prefer to upload their images with a card reader. These are inexpensive and I would recommend a USB 2 compact flash reader, as your cameras storage is Compact Flash type I.
