So I went to a couple of stores to check out cameras and decided on the Canons but i'm not sure which, im split between the A610/A620(might spend the extra $60) and SD450/500(little prices difference between the two)
I currently have a Pentax 170SL 35mm camera and the A610 is pretty much the same size which is why I like the compactness of the SD camera. But the A610 seems to take better quality pictures. I have read reviews for both camera and they seem to both get good reviews. If someone has had experience with both camera would you please post what your thought are on them. And if anyone knows any cons for these cameras. Thanks |

Hands-
Please keep in mind that the SD-450/500/550 are all point and shoot automatic cameras with minimal manual settings. In contrast, the A-610/620 are cameras that offer BOTH point and shoot ease as well as the ability to use manual settings. You have to determine which style will work best for you. MT |

If you don't need the manual controls, then the SD 500 is best. If you plan to use manual controls, though, the A610 is best.
